Putting families back together

These drawings were done by one of the children in Serenity Lane’s art therapy program- they represent life before and after recovery.

Children raised in a family with untreated addiction grow up in an atmosphere of chaos and fear. They are sad, lonely and scared. They are also four times more likely to become alcoholics or to marry into families in which alcoholism is prevalent.

When a parent enters recovery many changes take place within the family. Often children are confused about their role in the process and need guidance and support. Serenity Lane’s Children’s program helps them express their feelings and discuss addiction and explore family dynamics with their peers.

This program is just one example of the ways in which we help save lives and put families back together. Miracles are happening every day here.

Our scholarship fund allows us to help patients and families who seek help but lack the financial resources . Your contribution to our scholarship fund will help us make sure that every person who seeks to recover has the care and support that they need.

Thank you for your support.

On September 10, 2014, eight years after beginning our Capital Campaign we had our groundbreaking ceremony on the property in Coburg. Although we are going ahead with construction we still have not raised enough money for four buildings, including the gymnasium and the meditation center. These buildings are vital to the healing process of our patients. With your help we can build these buildings.

Since 1973 more than 55,000 patients and their families have relied on Serenity Lane to help them break free from the disease of addiction. With a larger campus, Serenity Lane will meet the needs of more patients. When our new campus opens on 15 serene acres in Coburg, Oregon, just six miles north of Eugene, we will immediately double our treatment capacity to 130 residential patients. In years to come, the site can be expanded to serve 260 patients. Because of you we can help save more lives.

Thank you for partnering with us in our Capital Campaign as we work together toward a much-needed new campus.

All Serenity Lane patients are given the same excellent care, whether the patient can pay the full cost of treatment or needs assistance. That's why your donation can have an immediate, positive impact in the life of someone seeking recovery from addiction.

Your gift will help Serenity Lane save lives by treating more people affected by the disease of addiction and provide scholarships for patients who could not otherwise afford treatment, at the time they need it.

Your tax deductible contributions are critical to helping Serenity Lane provide the best possible care to our patients and their families.
